Brian Lux
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor and have had the privilege of working in this field for over 20 years. I believe that the relationship between counselor and client is a sacred one and that the potential for healing and growth is dependent upon the quality of that working relationship. I am known for my ability to put people at ease, sense of humor, and lack of psychological jargon in my work. I draw from many therapy traditions and approach each session as a unique experience with a pragmatic, go-with-what-works attitude. Lastly, I view clients as having innumerable strengths, skills, character qualities, and past successes that provide fertile ground for possibility and change. This foundational belief and view of people and their potential is what my clients often say is the most helpful and meaningful part of their work with me.
